If something like this is currently available as a screen saver for macOS, I'd be willing to pay for it. I have a video of it (running on my Titanium PowerBook display, circa 2002, and yes, it still ran as of 3 months ago when I fired it up to capture a video of the Fluid screen saver to show someone else). It's one of the few Mac gems that I've found no way to update, replace, or adapt. Oh, and BTW, I enjoyed the entire presentation very much.

The only people who don’t like Zune never had a Zune. Msoft was ahead of their time. They had music subscriptions before Spotify, they had OLeD screens before cell phones did, they had Aluminum build quality, HD Radio, you could send music to other people, music discovery was so fun and well thought out and I miss everything about it.

Even though I never had one, the first gen nano will always be my favorite iPod ever. Its design was absolutely insane for 2005, and it still looks pretty modern even today.

Some people say the S7 single roller is better. I got an S8. On my wood floor it does a good job sucking up fine "sandy" debris. The really small ones you feel when draging a finger on the floor. Always using Turbo mode. Another thing to mention. A few millimeters out where the carpet line goes. It leaves this sandy feel also. It cant suck it up. BUT in the kitchen we have a softer kind of floor. And for some reason it perform worse there. The sandy feel is mostly left. When I run it in MAX mode. Its abit better but not 100%. I dont really get it? Maybe the floor is slighlty more sticky. Or dual rollers are worse. I wish I had an S7 just to compare if the single roller works better here. And another thing iv noticed. Since the rollers on all roborocks is between the wheels. The side brush cant deal with stuff like this along walls. Even If I see its brushing over it. And all the fine "sticky" stuff stays where it is anyway. 😐

dissapointment is a bitch ! <<< when in fact you should not be dissapointed as this guy has actually highlighted a gap oion the market : with personal devices.. do we really need a phone ? do we even need a tablet ? these are personla handset devices that are avalable ? yet they are not fit for consumption , hence notepads (which are so small visually they becoem glorified handsets and also unusable im afraid .... so beack the the laptops ! so we can see the need for a decent had device .. the rabbit attempted this but can never match the expensive company like apple or ibm etc : what we need is a open source device .... and this could have been it ! he should have begun with a mobile ophone or tablet hardware instead he began with tech ! ie google coral tpu ! whihc is enough to run a large languge model .... his mistake is letting people belive in the large action model !, which in thoery is spot on in truth ! we need to eb able to swap out brains ! as when you really reverse engineer the rpoduct we can see it runs on a light weight android (good ) ( prefer windows or linux) but in fact he is useing a typw of anthropic (RAG) ... so the rag is the SHELL which can be updated buit the brain is the LLM which should be pluginable ! so we need such a device with a tpu inside as well as we need a device whihc would allow you to train you model on your messaging hiastory therefore becomming a personalized device ! we need access to apps! such as mobile app service or even a full operating system ... with high memeory and gpu powers ! this is enoguh to replace a table and a mobile phoe as all internet requires a sim card hence a mobile device is a phone and should be usable with any wifi and bluetoth tech! (even screens) ... it is not hard to create but we are still waiting he has shown that there is a need for this multipurpose artificial inteligence naturallanguge driven interface and hard ware ! ()even if its only a viewer ( and doc editor) ....

No ability to customize the system is a big reason Mac just doesn't cut it. Stupid high prices is the other reason. My custom built PC looks better, is way faster, cost way less has longer warranties, parts are BETTER quality and runs Linux. Just better.

the 7th gen is the best of that era but also theres a 160gb version of it, the 120 was 6.5 gen it was weird and cant be modded as well anymore..... its the only iPod with a weird limitation for the size of drives you can mod into it! they are good but the way it handles albumart is BAD the main menu is dumb, and if you dont want albumart at all, the now playing screen always has the placeholder image! that image is on songs without art no matter what! Its ugly! the 5th gen is better! It moves the song info to the center of thescreen when theres no albumart! I agree the 5th gen is S tier, I would give the 7th gen A tier! and Nano, the 2nd gen is S tier, and the 1st gen is A tier! the 2nd gen was AWESOME it felt nice and looked nice and brought back a lot from the design of the mini, it was amazing! and still had a great DAC!
